On Fridays we have teach the teacher. This is an opportunity where Room 19 get to teach me something! So far Regan has taught us how to make smelling play dough and Mia taught us how to make Valentines Day sandwiches. Yum!

What talented writers we have in Room 19! Today we looked at how to add more detail into our sentences by using conjunctions. Room 19 had their first go at it and I was so impressed! We had an owl picture to help our brains think and here's what a few of us had come up with...

Such a fun week getting to know all the students of Room 19! You are all fabulous and motivated learners. I can not wait to see what the year has in store for us! 

Room 19 also welcomed our newest member of the class, our pet dwarf bunny, Sushi. 

We also have been learning about growth mindsets and how our brains grow bigger when we challenge it. Our challenge for the week was to work in teams to make something out of 30 rubber bands and here are what some of us did!
